For anyone unfamiliar, view transitions are animated changes between website views that preserve visual continuity as visitors navigate your site.
Astro’s implementation is simple to opt into and comes with built-in animations like fade, slide, forward and backward navigation animations, and more.
By default, pages use normal full-page navigation; you can enable view transitions per-page or site-wide.
While native browser APIs handle most animations beautifully, Astro’s <ClientRouter> adds extra benefits like shared state and persistent elements.
